In Science, the girls learned all about the lungs and how the respiratory system works. To help bring their learning to life, they carried out a very creative experiment where they made their own model lungs using plastic bottles, balloons and straws. The activity helped the girls to understand how the lungs expand and contract during breathing and gave them a hands-on insight into how our bodies work. The girls really enjoyed the experiment and showed great teamwork, creativity and scientific thinking throughout the lesson.
