The 6th class girls enjoyed a very exciting visit to Cahir Castle as part of their History programme this year. Having studied the Normans in class, the trip gave the girls a wonderful opportunity to see a real Norman castle up close and learn more about how people lived during that time. They explored the castle’s impressive towers, walls and defence features while discovering many interesting facts about Norman life and medieval Ireland. The visit brought their history lessons to life and was both educational and enjoyable for everyone involved.
