Ms. Cronin's First class had a great opportunity to work with the Parents Association on the their 'Step into Spring' bulb donation project. Girls have brought in some wonderful bulbs so far, from tulip to narcissus to crocus, over the last few weeks and we were thrilled to start the project in line with our Science lessons focusing on growth and change of plant life over the seasons. More donations of bulbs would be greatly appreciated as larger projects are envisaged for the grounds of the school. We also planted two native Irish cherry trees that were provided to the school as part of National Tree Week last week. The girls were so engaged in the gardening planting process. It was a joy to see!Huge thanks to our Parents Association and our wonderful caretaker William for their support in our planting endeavours!
